1. To provide a forum for Pakistani students for better communication, useful dialogue, exchange of ideas and expertise in various disciplines.
2. To assist newly arriving Pakistani students in orientation and adjustment in Halmstad.
3. To provide information to the Pakistani students wishing to pursue their careers in Sweden.
4. To help identify and share research opportunities, such as in masters, doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships, and other research funding opportunities etc.
5. To arrange get-togethers for its members, welcoming new and farewell dinner for the outgoing students,
6. To keep a database of Pakistani students in Halmstad University.
7. Develop linkages with Alumni from Halmstad University currently in Pakistan.
   Under the above-mentioned objectives, the association has grown. We would appreciate that in the coming years students be involved actively in the PSA activities.

Meanwhile, through your contributions and comments we have been able to develop this website. The website e-group is carefully moderated and professionalism, relevance and usefulness would be upheld. Membership is restricted to those studying in Halmstad University in any capacity. The group moderators reserve the right to deny membership to any individual or expel an individual on substantive grounds to ensure quality of interaction.
